Regional Recruiter

Our Talent Acquisition team is adding a Regional Recruiter to the team. Under general direction, recruits for store, warehouse, and maintenance positions. This role ensures the best talent is presented to hiring managers and effectively promotes our company values to prospective candidates.

Responsibilities:

Provides Feedback about Hiring Needs

Works collaboratively with Regional Recruiter to brainstorm solutions to address hiring needs

Meets with Regional Recruiting bimonthly to understand hiring metrics and efforts

Regional Office team: works with Recruiter to address any challenges resulting from iCims implementation.

Holds managers accountable for great candidate experiences

Approves closing of Store Postings in case the store is full and does not need support

Understands Talent Needs by Store

Ensures Pipeline Generation Efforts are in place and producing for every Store

Focuses on Hard to Staff Stores

Interviews Candidates as needed

Meets with Region Team bimonthly to share hiring metrics and recruiting plans

Works directly with store managers to come up with creative solutions to staffing needs

Organizes hiring events and relationships with local schools/organizations

Collects availability gaps from Store Managers to inform hiring needs

Conducts iCims or Interviewing Training for Managers as needed

Acts as a liaison between regional HR Administration, Office Manager, Regional Training Manager and Executive staff to achieve store hiring needs.

Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

Makes recruiting and interviewing recommendations as required.

Initiates contact with appropriate resources to generate more applicants and increase brand awareness included but not limited to social media campaigns and targeted media advertisements.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of one year of Recruiting experience or three years of Discount Tire store Assistant Manager experience.

Must have a strong drive for results, critical thinking and be teamwork focused.

Proven collaboration and relationship / rapport building skills are required.

Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Word and Excel, is necessary.

This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.

Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.

Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.

In addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED. Additional college level Business or Human Resources related classes are beneficial.
