POSITION SUMMARY: Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, the Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) registered nurse (RN) will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department patients. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • BSN Required within 24 months of hire
  • TX or Compact State RN License
  • BLS, American Heart Association, required
  • ACLS Required within 1 year
  • PALS Required within 1 year
  • TNCC Required within 1 year
  • ENPC Required within 1 year
  • 1-2 years emergency department experience
